Ramirez's agent made the right call getting him to Miami. He has no one standing in his way at all.

Is there any specific reason they are waiting? I can’t imagine service time is a consideration.

Not important enough players to worry about service time. There is no reason

For a team that some people think won’t win 60 games, the Marlins are playing the Cubs really tough on the road.

Andy just made a really sweet throw from his knees @ 3B.

There isn’t much thought process when Alfaro gets in the box. It’s just TAKE HUGE HACKS AT EVERYTHING.

John Berti with a beyond bat bunt in the 10th inning.

Lead off Herrera single turns into a quick 2 outs.

If Herrera just stays on 1st it's just the one out. What an idiot, get him off the team.

Ya if they had just below average bats they wouldn’t be so hard to watch. At least we can take away 2 pretty good rotation pieces for this year long term which is at least part of what we wanted to see despite knowing how hard the bats are gonna be to watch

On another note, spencer torkelson is probably a name we should start to familiarize ourselves with.

so after watching 1 3 minute youtube video of this torkelson guy who is a #1 candidate for the 2020 draft, i can confidently say he is a future hall of famer and we should tank for tork.

                    • Listening to the radio broadcast of the game. Kind of refreshing after hearing the TV guys struggle to put a happy face on the club struggles night in and night out. Glen Geffner not sugar-coating how bad the team is this year. Brought up some absolutely shocking numbers on the teams offensive futility. Most notably the teams OPS right now is .597. Only two qualifying players in the MLB last year had lower OPS' than .597, the team's OPS.

                      • The Marlins had the lowest team OPS in the majors last year. Their team OPS is 62 points lower than last year's so far this year.

                          Oh my.

I'm not shocked by that, but it's a pretty terrifying statistic.

Tough break for Marlin pitchers that they don't get to lard up their stats by facing their own lineup now and then. The positive aspect is that the team may be inclined to part ways with Prado, Castro, Granderson, Rojas, etc. sooner rather than later.
