so because the mets dont realize grass gets wet in rain, the goal now needs to be to not only make the playoffs obviously, but to get a game ahead of the cubs or dbacks before sunday so that we can clinch saturday, throw away sundays game, and get garrett, luzardo, and cabrera lined up and on full rest for the wild card round. that braves come back was enormous last night. we need to sweep today, which wont be easy with senga. do you line garrett up to pitch the game he is going or try to steal one with a bullpen game vs him

without tanner scott today, we have to find a ton of innings from a bullpen that includes something named enmanuel de jesus, bryan hoeing, johnny cueto, george soriano, husacar brazoban, steven okert who has been awful for months, and david robertson. i hope matt moore still has some innings in that arm from when he was a starter because that is pretty rough. Gotta have scott's wife crank out that healthy baby and get him back here,

the field situation is even more absurd than i thought it was last night. not only did they leave the field in the open in the remnants of a tropical storm, but they ended up eventually putting the tarp over the wet field, which didnt allow it to dry at all. just complete incompetence.

Double headers are hard to sweep, which would be ideal from our vantage point, so I'll give you 1-1 being realistic. But calling it "monumental" to win is ridiculous.
