I would still take Wendle over Hampson, which was the original point.

Perhaps Berti should start more at SS, but Hampson doesn’t provide anything that Berti doesn’t already provide.

Wendle’s left-handed, has had a better career than Hampson, and I’m pretty sure is a better, more versatile defensive infielder too if we’re talking about them as bench players.

I really don’t care that Garrett Hampson isn’t here anymore. Lucky we got some production out of him in a small sample and move on, really. Happy I never have to see him start a game for us in the outfield again.

I’m so done with this fucking guy. He has no fucking clue where the ball is going every time out. The reliever who can’t throw strikes is the least valuable kind of player in baseball. Why does skip consistently put this guy in? He has pitched in more games than any other reliever other than Scott
