2023 Game Thread

I expect Groshans to add some power since he’s only 23, but he needs to add a ton of power to be playable at 3B/1B. I don’t see it happening.

I'm with you but it's greater than 1% but less (and maybe well less) than 50% for sure. I am hoping for 1B/3B/LF type that has a .725+ OPS. Good bench player if the defense isn't insane if he can do that. That's frankly what we want out of Edwards but throw in 2B/CF.

But the sad reality of this under 30 exercise is (ignoring A ball guys), he is probably their 11-15th "best" bat and that really shows a huge lack of depth.


The pitching is potentially awesome though. Maybe Kim will wake up and realize she must trade 2-4 for 3+ bats.

we're not going to have 20k on a weeknight all of a sudden but good lord this weather this week is not helping getting fans out to the ballpark. Been a damn hurricane every day at 5 pm. luckily wednesday was one of those 1 pm camp days so we got 15k out there but it would be nice to see some 12-15k crowds more often.

Because david samson is who he is he says sherman should just flatly lie about attendance numbers like Samson did to try to get some positive buzz going around the fanbase buying into this team.

What a moron. That approach does nobody any good. So lets say you do that and claim there's 20k people in the park, when clearly there's 5k.....then it reverts back to "Marlins faking attendance because nobody goes."
