    • Before last nights game Fangraphs had us at 68.9% to make playoffs

      This morning we are 68.4%

      • hopefully they can use last nights/the Mets shenanigans as motivation to take care of business against the Pirates.

        • Also, Fuck the Mets. Joke Organization. Spend more on two aging pitchers than our entire team, fuck off.

            • The cheapest playoffs full strip is $940 per person (Home Run Porch).

If the miracle happens, I’ll just by some single game tickets when they go on sale for Marlins Members

              • The guy we are facing tonight has a 7.86 ERA. He’ll probably go 7 innings and give up 4 hits and 2 walks

So how does that work? If we get no home games, you get your money back? If we get only 1 home game you'd still have to pay the full $940?

No, they credit you for every gene that doesn’t happen

For example, we play one hone game, they give your money back on all of the other games that never happened

Makes sense. I guess at most they could have 8 home games.

                        What does "full strip" mean?

You buy a ticket for every possible home game the Marlins could have in the post season.

They are not selling half strips or anything like that.

it’s just like the full strip WBC tickets I bought

                            Per the Marlins, it’s 10.

I can't make that math work out.

I guess if we got into the WC #2 slot, we could conceivably get home field advantage in the NLCS against the WC #3 team if they made it, but still then that number only gets to 9.

We will for sure not have any home games in the WC round. Definitely won't have home field advantage in the NLDS. 5 game series, so that's 2 home games, in the unlikely event that we face the WC#3 team we could get 4 there, so that's 6, and...

I think I just figured out the 10. The Twins are 85-74 right now. I guess if they lost out and we won out for the rest of the season, we would have a better record than them, and if we met in the world series we'd have home field advantage. I guess?

So I guess it is 10.
