The guy we just traded was hitting .229 with a .277 OBP.

Jackson is K'ing 32.8% of the time at AAA, which is too much, but it's not 40%. If he can put up .210/.290/.460 at the majors, that's one of the better hitting catchers in the majors, even if he is striking out 35% of the time.

I doubt it, but hopefully he can be like Mike Zunino this year.
Either way, let’s get rid of Alfaro and give Jackson the AB’s rest of the season, why not?

Then offer San Diego more pitching for Campusano.
