Idk who is in charge of our base running but that coach needs to be fired 2 months ago. The amount of base runners given away due to stupidity for an already bad hitting team is beyond ridiculous

Jesus enough of Alfaro. Only thing worse than him offensively is him defensively. I dare anyone to name a single thing he does at a major league level. He is a proven atrocious hitter, he can’t call a game to save his life, he can’t block balls or receive pitches to save his life, and he’s awful throwing runners out. How the flying fuck do you not get an improvement last offseason when given the opportunity. It’s so fucking ridiculous how bad he is at literally every job he is asked to do

Idk about the whole coaching staff, but mattingly absolutely deserves to be fired. Good guy for a rebuilding team but an absolutely horrific manager for a team trying to win games. The number of pick offs this year is completely inexcusable

The Marlins coaching staff thinks Dylan Floro, a guy who basically only throws fastballs at a mediocre velocity for modern day baseball, is better suited for the 8th inning than the guy with a 97 mph sinker and a wipeout slider.

It’s hilarious. I guarantee you we’re the only team in baseball that doesn’t use the best reliever late in games for high leverage.

Baseball is the only thing getting in baseballs way from being watchable by casual fans. The Lack of automatic strike zone and the absurd length of time between pitches makes these games absolutely unwatchable. Fucking absurd how bad manfred is at his job and how out of touch the owners that control him are
