ya they are his absolute cryptonite so hopefully he can figure something out tonight because if they don't go on a streak the next 2-3 weeks they will need to be sellers. but given the way the rest of the division seems to stink a good month run can get them in a serious playoff chase with a dynamite rotation with sixto eventually coming back and then BA coming back end of July/early august.

Was just following the game on the phone and not watching until now and just seeing that Pablo was tossed after one fucking pitch? MLB needs to really get the powerful umps union under control already. Enough of the stupidity where these morons ruin games nightly and face no repercussions ever. The place to pitch acuna is inside. If he gets hit, tough shit, no one is throwning at acuna in the first pitch of the game when we need to win

Jesus fucking Christ Alfaro is so bad. I can’t watch him anymore. The guy is a complete 0 all around player and he’s been gifted a spot as a starter for 3 straight years despite not doing a single thing on the field well. It’s infuriating to watch and has been for years. His at bats are atrocious

The issue is and has been for years that the umpires union is so strong that it essentially prohibits any kind of action against umpires for being completely fucking terrible at their job. Angel Hernandez can be a horrific umpire for over a decade and still not get fired. It’s a joke
