Not saying that Peyton Burdick will be the next to get the call from Miami, but am saying that for August he sits at .400, .486, 1,219 at AA.

gotta love those videos the marlins post when they film the guys being notified that they are coming up to the big leagues for the first time. excited to see what cabrera can do the last month of the year.

Think it's "really" time to move Luzardo to the minors, or to the bullpen and he throws 1+ time through the lineup as a bulk reliever. Get some confidence and regroup for next year.

Brinson's season OPS has dropped .107 OPS points last 10 games (including through 2 PA tonight). No point doing a May 1st split now to take out the horrible april. His post May 1st BABIP has normalized into the .320s and season is hovering .300 now. He's around .250/.290/.445 for the season right now, with a heavier split against lefties. Improvement? Yes. And it's actually a pretty big one to be flirting as a .750 OPS hitter. But he's going to need to hit a bit here on out to be considered as the front runner for the last OF on the roster.

ya edward cabrera has thrown 8 big league pitches and i can tell you he is legit. legit hard to be that impressive in such a small sample but my god. Please god get me to next opening day with 5 healthy guys out of Sandy, Sixto, Rogers, Cabrera, and then Pablo if we keep him or Meyer. Holy shit that would be unreal. But again its all health

Cabrera seemed like an Alcantara clone. Only issue was far too many changeups ... resulting in some bad ones. Did anybody hit the 98 fastball?

cant ask for much more from cabrera in his big league debut. Please god just get us to next opening day with a healthy Sandy, Rogers, Pablo, Sixto, and Cabrera.
