id like to see mattingly tinker with aguilar at 3b for at least some games in order to get both Cooper and his bat in the lineup more often. Aguilar might be a minus defensively but if he can just be merely below average it might be worth it to try and see how good the lineup could be with both of their bats in there.

All of a sudden a lineup of Jazz, Marte, Cooper, Aguilar, Duvall, Rojas, Sanchez, and Alfaro might be a lot more consistent. then you still have Berti and Panik available as versatile bats off the bench. They will still be inconsistent but with 2 holes in the bottom of the lineup instead of 3 it might make it a lot easier to score runs consistently. I still haven't given up hope but these next 2 weeks are crucial. The mets are not running away with this and a good 2 weeks to get us within 5 games of the division might make us buyers for a bat at the deadline to add to hopefully sixto coming back shortly after the deadline for the stretch run.

It’s just a joke on a forum with 9 male posters. And from what evidence Bauer’s attorney claims he has, it appears as if there are a lot of text messages which back up Bauer’s claim that all of the acts were consensual.

If all things pointed toward Bauer being someone who committed a sexual battery, the joke would be in poor taste.

We’ll have to wait and see.

I don't know about legal precedent, or conviction, but it seems pretty clear that he choked her out and punched her, was it to the degree she claims? I guess we'll see, but to me if you get off on punching and choking another person, you're a piece of shit.

My only gripe with this whole story is that someone sexually abuses you, makes you pass out, hits you in the face without consent etc why would you even go back for a 2nd go?

No argument there, but doesn't mean she deserved to be punched and beaten so badly that she ends up in the hospital.

I’d like that reinforce that if Bauer did the things that this woman is alleging, he is a horrible monster and he needs to be convicted of sexual battery and face the same sentencing that any non-celebrity would face.

We are fortunate to have due process in our country. Let’s see how it plays out.
