Also a sentence I never thought I'd write at the start of the year but Jesus Aguilar may be the Marlins biggest free agent signing since Pudge, and Starling Marte is possibly the biggest Marlins trade acquisition ever. Giving Jeter time, and unfortunately some COVID happening but you can see the results of the work done the past 3 year and some very savvy short term free agent signings this past season.

I feel bad for questioning Jeter/Denbo given what was done to build the Yankees farm while he was involved.

Next year they have Jerar AND Devers too. They also have 20 million to spend. Only question is the pen really. Yimi/Box/Vincent are all FA. I give Yimi a 3 yr deal fast. The rest of the roster is pretty much set-the smart play is see if they can trade some of the "young" arms

If Sierra had been playing much recently I think I'd agree with Lee. I still have very little confidence with Brinson up against upper echelon pitching, but Sierra's had so few ABs since he's come back, I think it's gotta be Brinson.

Thinking more about it, I don't agree with me. The move to replace Marte should be Berti to CF and Jazz to 2B. Upgrades 2B defense and Chisholm might just knock one out to RF off Darvish.

I agree, take a chance that the last game of the season against the Yankees was the start of a hot streak for Jazz.

As much as i think brinson has improved, I too would go with Jazz at 2b and Berti in CF. Brinson against darvish seems like an awful matchup. Maybe if later in the game they bring in a lefty to face jazz then pinch hit brinson for him and move berti back in to 2b. I like the speed that berti brings and his ability to steal bases is big on a team that doesnt hit a ton of homers.

This game is huge today. I think Sixto is due for a great bounce back start after getting rocked two straight outings against teams seeing him for the 2nd time. I think today he harnesses his confidence and uses their lack of opportunity to see him and gives us a great start. Lets fucking go boys.

I think we can get 3 or 4 off of darvish. he's been great this year but as someone who has had him in fantasy for the last few years he loves himself a big inning out of nowhere. Either way i think sixto can at least match him.

I get the handedness argument, but Joyce and Sierra both against Darvish is painful. Would prefer Jazz in there as Lee suggested, or even take chances with Brinson.

if the issue was lefty vs righty i dont for the life of me get going with sierra over jazz. Jazz has more power and is much more likely to come up with a big hit, not to mention sierra has speed but its pretty useless speed given that he is a horrendously inefficient base stealer.

Look Sierra was good back in August. My issue is he's had 8 ABs since August 23rd. He's 1-8 in those ABs, doesn't seem like you're setting him up for success.
