      • Well at least he didn't pull a Joyce. Just bad luck.

        • Not sure how you swing at anything there that’s not a fastball down the middle.

          • That sucks but i would so much rather a young stud like jazz get some experience in a big spot like that than a shitty veteran like Joyce. Jazz should have been playing more the last week or so. He's gonna be really good in a couple years and i feel confident saying that already

            • At least it was hard hit. We can't say we didn't have enough opportunities on these three games. We just didn't take care of them.

He hit the ball right on the nose. Hard for me to find fault.

                • I turned it off a bit ago. I've never seen a team treated the way the Marlins have this season, postseason, and series with blatant ignoring/rewriting of rules (reviewing balls/strikes), awful biased commentating, "ok commerical" when we're coming up to bat, "HERE COME THE BRAVESSSSS when they're coming up", even the damn fake crowd noise is in favor of the Braves when we're the HOME team in this game.

It's been abundantly clear MLB doesn't want the Marlins to win.

                    @fishstripes
The Jazz ground out with the bases loaded is the hardest-hit ball for either team today

                    • And overall it's been a fun season, but this series has been tough to watch. We're definitely missing Marte Yankees and Cubs tried to take him out).

                        Don't forget the fake postponement.

                          • now that this game is a lost cause, i'd be perfectly happy with giving acuna something to be properly upset at his next time up

                            • I dont think the timely hitting in this series could have been any worse for us. Good learning experience and a great lesson in how much this team needs to improve to take the next step.

                              Offseason keys

                              1) Sign/re-sign a couple bullpen arms. I generally don't like paying big money for relievers but given our salary structure for the next few years with so many of the gys under team and cost control, i wouldnt mind a 2-3 year decent sized deal for a very good reliever or 2.
                              2) Trade dickerson with an OF or SP prospect to get a legit catcher (or say fuck it and go for JT who i think would instantly make us a contender)
                              3) Trade Urena
                              4) Continue the process. Lots of teams start a rebuild successfully and then fuck it up by going for it when they get closer. Different sport but think 76ers in basketball when they hired Colangelo. Just keep the faith in the process nd it will pay off, whether its next year or whether we take a slight step back next year. We need the hitters to develop, and they will, but be patient and dont make short sighted moves that hurt the sustainability of the potential window of contention.

                                Agreed.

I would honestly like to sign a veteran pitcher. I would love Trevor Bauer.

If Eliaser is good next year we can trade for a impact bat like Marte.
