  • We are as good at not hitting into double plays as Rich Waltz is at counting how many we have hit into.

        • So we have an off day on Thursday, we can 'skip' Javy next sunday and monday as a result and have JJ and Nolasco on regular rest. Next four times we'd need a 5th starter without anyone going on short rest.

          Tues May 17 @ Mets
          Sun May 22 Rays
          Sun May 28 @ Dodgers
          Tues June 7 Brewers

Lines up relatively spread out so we can move the roster around a little bit. I think we need to send down Hop next Tuesday and call up Koehler for a spot, then send him back down after the game for Hensley (not sure if he's off the DL yet) or Ceda for a few games until another move is needed.

Javy needs a break one time through for sure and he can get almost two weeks off with one spot on May 17th due to the offday. I don't think it's time to give up on him, but it's time for another skip through the rotation to hopefully get him throwing at least 4 innings.

DLing him is cool too if you can find a reason. But we really wouldn't need to with a pair of moves on the 17th.

Oh, my mistake. I didn't realize your eyes are more accurate than the series of high speed cameras throughout the stadium that track the ball through it's flight.

              • Looks like watching Illuminations: Reflections of Earth instead of Javy Vazquez was a good decision.

Watch the Fox Trax to Coghlan on the 3-2 slider. First batter, ball 4. /perfect game.
