On a positive note, I think we all expected a loss in this one with Volstad going. Hopefully JJ and Ricky can keep us in this series.

Well when that was the one quality that he was supposed to have that made people think he would be a solid major league pitcher and it turns out that that skill is non-existent, it's kind of frustrating. It also makes me wonder how he can still be in the big leagues.

Because he has a 4.44 career ERA and 4.58 ERA last year and is just a mediocre pitcher. There's plenty of room for mediocre pitchers at the back of rotations.
