So I'm biased. I admit it. I've just been following Volstad since he was drafted and know he's good. I am not the only person on here with a favorite player but am one of the few that gets bashed for it at every opportunity.

It's not that you have a favorite. It's how you back him up no matter what's going on. And then you go out and rip a young pitcher for being wild when that pitcher has just as much talent if not more than Volstad.

Yeah, the biggest problem is how you put Volstad on a pedestal while demolishing everything else. Tucker has Raynaud's Syndrome? Let's insult him about it! Volstad struggles? It's something else besides him that's making him struggle!

As far as the favorite player thing goes, it's not that you have a favorite player. It's that it leads you to a biased opinion, which leads to say stupid things (i.e. "Threat of rain"). And really, the only other people I can think of with favorite player(s) is FIP (who gets ragged on when he says something stupid) and Ramp (Who understand the limitations of the players he likes, and therefore does not say stupid things).

That because it's not in my personality to not say anything when people come at me. If someone takes a shot at me or baits me, I'm going to defend myself. And I tried to just let it slide and ignore it hoping people would stop but they never did so I'm back to defending myself.
