AGREE 100% the 1% will only listen and make a substantive change unless you hit them where it hurts them the most. The workers have more power then they realize in this country. If they hold back their labor the 1% will cave, because they have too. We need a General Strike in this country soooo bad.

And on the flip side, we have a country that has due process. Doesn't matter if a guy has a long history of priors or an open murder warrant or is a convicted rapist or anything in between. None of those is deserving of the death penalty before a free and fair trial. People seem to forget that when they start listing off a victim's rap sheet.

Yeah, if you're white. If you're a person of color, many times the outcome is quite different. The %'s tell the story.

It's remarkable the people, or Karens if you will, who throw these fits over masks, don't do the same over wearing clothes and shoes. But a lot of the problem stems from the fact that stores did not set up outside the door blocks....they let people enter without a mask. Signs on doors should clearly state store policy - No shoes, no shirt, no pants, NO MASK, NO SERVICE.

These people also don't complain about their seat belts. In many cars you can't even drive without it being buckled. Yet don't complain there about their liberty, and freedoms etc, with a belt that is ACTUALLY constraining them.

I agree with this statement as much as I agree with my statement.

The Wisconsin officers should have gone hands on with him before he got back to his car (you never let a person go back into their car -there are countless videos of people going back to their car to retrieve a weapon to shoot cops- but my point remains; if he had complied with lawful orders from the police he would have not gotten shot.

We live in the new age of zero accountability for citizens and how they conduct themselves with law enforcement.

exactly. its complete willful ignorance to continue to say nothing happens to those who simply follow orders. there is no comparison between the aggression cops act with towards any black male especially compared to white males. and i say that as a white male. there is an either conscious or subconscious aggression that black people face from police.

There have been some ridiculously poor examples of judgement made by cops over the years. There is no doubt about it.

That, unfortunately, will happen when there are millions and millions of interactions between police and citizens every year.

exactly. there is pretty clearly a difference in the hostility and aggression that is given to white people v black people for the same thing.
