So what was the point of calling up Lewin for 2 days?

They called up a guy from independent ball to replace Yamamoto instead of Sixto. Classic.

Crazy how there was no maddawg posts when we we're beating Baltimore 4 in a row. Nothing from him when we were the feel good story of the league, but get on a little bit of a losing streak and look who comes out of hiding.

He was "busy" during that time, and suddenly 100% coincidentally "free" when they happen to lose lol. Over and over.

So what was the point of calling up Lewin for 2 days?

Needed another lefty power bat with Dickerson out. They said from the beginning he was just replacing Dickerson for a few days

Scratch that. 2 independent pitchers. Thank God for our improved farm system.

Reasons for Lewin to be called up for a few days: 1) Allow him to get a feel for the game 2) reward him for efforts at Jupiter with some extra payola 3) improve the team chances of winning 4) give him some exposure to the tv crowd

Hopefully the Marlin lineup card will change now that a righty is going for the Mets. None of this Brinson and Harrison bullshit instead of Joyce and Sierra.

I would also prefer Dickerson in the two spot against righties.

We need a great start from Mejia. Mets hitters have been going crazy, esp. Cano.

Their handling of the prospects has certainly been weird. I mean, we don't know how these guys really look in Jupiter, but from the outside their decision making is certainly inconsistent.

i miss isan diaz getting opportunities to play everyday at 2b instead of berti and forsythe.

Frisky Lee is my favorite poster.

Harrison cannot remain on this roster if we are serious about competing. Every pitch is a total guess, and even if he guesses right he's 50/50 to make contact. But I guess with the Sixto stuff as well, we aren't all that serious.
