Morosi says the Marlins plan to be buyers at the deadline with a focus on the bullpen. He mentions the Royals as a team they’re looking at.

Not sure what I feel about this. Their bullpen is obviously what has hurt them the most, but I hope they don’t give much up if they’re buying. I still think they might be better served taking advantage of a sellers’ market and sell rather than buy.

They could do both. Sell shorter term guys, acquire longer term ones.

sixto time. young pitchers have struggled when first called up this year so not expecting much but still exciting to see him up here

ok so ive seen 2 innings of sixto pitch and i can affirmatively tell you he will be at the top of our rotation for years to come

jesus sanchez seems to have a pretty good idea of the zone already at the plate. he's k'd a bunch already but he clearly has a better idea up there than monte.
