Please don't behave like a mosquito. My post was for those who watched Brigham pitch. You obviously didn't.

      Ditto.
ive seen enough of brigham to know his success has nothing to do with his mlb potential and everything to do with the fact that he is 4-5 years older than most of the guys he is pitching to, a point you cant seem to get through your head.

You're right, of course. Every 26-year-old pitching at the AA level puts up astounding numbers. By the way, 24 is the average age of AA players.

Before the year, you said Trevor Richards was big league ready because of his numbers in the minors. Now Richards needs more time in the minors, and Brigham is the new Richards.

Only question is, when Brigham comes up and has his struggles, who’s the next 26 year old in AA that you’re going to say is big league ready?

and the people who are around 24 or older are all working with a huge advantage and the fact that you still dont get this is mind boggling.

Suffice to say that the Marlin management agreed with my assessment of Richards, Peters and Caleb Smith. Based on how Richards has dealt with his promotion, I think he could benefit from time at AAA. Brigham is a revelation that shouldn't be ignored. If you watched him, you'd know that.

no, no they didnt. they needed starters who werent alcantara for service time reasons. they view peters as a back end of the rotation guy, and everyone viewed caleb smith as a swing starter/long reliever.

Brigham's biggest issue is durability. He gets hurt ALOT(which is why no one looked at him in Rule 5) however when he is on he looks good. Not sure he can handle SP in Majors but is another RP option

Wait until May/June until u start talking him up to AAA because good chance he is on DL by then

Conley a starter, Alcantara. All part of the "wanna believe" syndrome. Want to believe the time in Conley wasn't wasted; that the team got something for Ozuna. All Caleb Smith did was excel at AAA. All Peters did was perform as the Southern League's best starter.

I agree that Brigham's stuff plays up in the bullpen. I'd advance him and Wittgren right now to replace Cloyd and Guerrero. Anticipate injuries? I can only do that for Chen.

Its not part of the "wanna believe" syndrome. ITs part of the age and "stuff" matter syndrome and the "you know absolutely nothing" syndrome.
