Teal as a primary color is certainly garish (see I cans talk like an artsy guy too), but I think the current Marlins unis have used it tastefully as an accent color.

    (The Spurs had teal?!)

Don't forget the Pistons had teal uniforms in the 90s.

Teal is very dated and I wouldn't be upset if the Marlins got rid of it, but at the same time it's so subtle that it looks pretty darn sharp. If we still had those predominantly teal unis of the 90s, I'd scream.

I want something simple and classic looking, but I think we'll get modern and vaguely iPod-ish.

All I want from this revamping is a better looking cap logo. Preferrably one that's just the letter 'M' done in some stylish way. It could be old English script, it could be layered (like the Tampa Bay TB) whatever, but please ditch the enormous hat logo. Make it small, simple and I'll be very happy.

It should probably have a marble sculpture with some Van Gogh shit on there, then maybe an M worked in if there's room.

BTW teal is still a color for the Ms.

                  So...

                  MLB: Marlins, Mariners
                  NBA: Hornets
                  NHL: Sharks
                  NFL: Jaguars (not Seahawks)
                  MLS: None
I was talking about uniforms too. The Jags and Mariners don't really use Teal in their unis anymore, do they? But the Seahawks home jersey looks pretty teal to me (albeit not the bright 90's Marlins or Hornets teal).

Around the dark blue script and in the cap:

I wouldn't consider the Seahawks' shade of blue teal.

                      Good call.

I think those are the old Jags unis, though now I see that their new home uni is still teal. I thought they had redesigned their homes to be black for some reason (I don't think their road unis have any, or very little, teal).

I like the stadium, but not Loria's gay attitude. Baseball is a sport that's all about the retroness, not about gay art shit. The stadium will probably have one of those statues of a naked dude since apparently Loria is a little gay.

Why does everyone have to look firmly backwards? Ok, baseball has a great history. The sense I get from him is that the Marlins, as a franchise, are trying to look forward. Forget the firesales, forget the threats of moving, forget the bad things about the past. This is a new era, etc.
