I don't think it would be a dream. If Carrasco is available, Bauer is probably available too. Carrasco is a better pitcher than Bauer.Comment

I'd rather Carrasco. He's King significantly more and BBing significantly less than Bauer and has been producing at that level for over a year. He's already signed to a good contract and that's a big plus considering how common our FO does that. Bauer also hasn't performed at a better level than what is already on the roster next year. He has more upside but it's results that are needed.Comment

So either you have to be certain he makes that jump (totally possible that he does but just as likely he doesn't). This organization needs to maximize production next year for their trade assets that would be required to get Hauer (or at get a future third baseman lock).Comment
