Boston would like him but not until he clears and they don't have to pay him. AZ wants him if they can trade Hill in the deal which we are pausing on. KC,TB,LAA like him if we will pay most of his contract

Good, getting Hill makes no sense. Talk to TB,KC,LAA say we don't care about what's coming back but who's going to take the most of his contract.

None want to take much of his contract-maybe 1 million each season. The only reason why we are even getting hits on him is teams that need catching see this as there chance. No way in hell TB,Arizona or LAA have a chance against Boston who if he clears will be ready to sign him.

All 3 teams wouldn't mind giving up a low level project and pay say around 2 million for him

The Arizona thing tho seems to be them trying to get rid of Hill's contract than interest in Salty

It would make more sense to have Salty than Hill on this team.

The point is any player you get for him in return is filler. Take the most salary relief possible. I'm guessing someone will give at least 3 million for almost 2 years of salty

With Hanigan out thru the Break-look for the Red Sox to get in on Salty. Still a few more days on his DFA

Today is day 10 since his DFA. Still annoyed at how stupid this move was.

But sub .600 OPS out of the catcher spot. It'll be really fun when all the catchers used this season finish with a OPS under .600.

According to Jon Heyman they have until 2pm on Tuesday before they have to put him on release waivers.
