I mean, honestly, this is all being a fan is. That thread was them telling us we might be the worst team ever and now we're not so of course we're gonna be like IN YOUR FACE HA. Because some of us are still Marlins fans.

And I still say there was nothing wrong with that thread. It was having fun with what has been a trying season, plus it led to this thread, a triumphant FU in the face of New York Mets players well into their 70s or dead.

I always took the thread as a sarcastic shot at the organization, which is what half my posts are anyway, so I had no problem with it. And after the first 2 months of the season, be honest, if you thought we'd have much more than 50 wins you were lying to yourself.
