I LOL'd at what the print said. It said that a man with no professional coaching experience was HAND PICKED by the owner of the Marlins (who happens to have a ton of experience with art and business).

I hate Loria more than you should hate any person with whom you haven't had any manner of close relationship, but even I see it as a bit of a stretch to blame Loria for this. Yeah, maybe he should have just gotten out of the way when Tino wanted to resign, but of all the things Loria's done to make him a reprehensible person, this one probably doesn't make the list.
