Marlins Stave Off Playoffs Grim Reaper for Another Day, Win 6-4
I'm a homer, but not a huge homer, and I challenge anyone who actually watches a lot of baseball objectively to say that Happ (whom I'd consider the front runner) is more impressive than Coghlan.

Well then you are a massive homer.
Happ is 10-3 with a 2.63era, 1.16whip, .226baa
In 143.2 innings, he has given up 117 hits, walked 51 and struck out 97
Chris Coghlan is very good, but it's really not close. Besides, Andrew McCutchen has been just as good, if not better than Coghlan too. (More doubles, triples, homers, RBI, SB, higher OPS, much better defense(my assumption here))
but CC on-the-job training in LF and adjusting to hitting in the leadoff spot in the ML for a rookie is an huge accomplishments that stats dont show. He was thrust in the lineup, and ask to boost a struggling offense, while McCutchen was groom into his starting spot. So if CC and Andrew's numbers are close, i give the nod to CC because of how he adjusted in the short time he was given.
unfortunaly voters outside miami dont know that, and McCutchen will most likely get more votes than CC. He probably finish somewher bewteen hanson and mccutchen for 3rd place, as of now. If he raises his averages up to .300-.310 then he will have a great case for RoY
Say if Happ explodes in his final starts and era jumps, then it is a wide open race, but right now Happ is the frontrunner with a big lead
