Runs don't care about excuses. Costing us runs on defense makes us lose, we can't just tell the scoreboard "it don't count, he's new!"
And the thing is, their numbers aren't close. McCutchen has a 50 point OPS advantage. He's been bounds better on defense at a more demanding position. It isn't really even an argument. god I always spell argument arguement. Doesn't it sound like it has an e in it?
