tjfla tell them that Stanton isn't available until Free Agency

I would rather hell tell you he is available. That would mean Stanton is in Miami to stay.

That joke wasn't funny the first time you made it, Todd.

I don't know much about the Giants' system but Susac's numbers aren't that great.

                  He's their #13 prospect.

Numbers are solid for a catcher and he crushes lefties. Worst-case, he and Brantly can share the catching duties. If Susac reaches his ceiling, he'll be the starter.

Ok, he is hitting .364 Vs. LHP, but don't we already have two guys who are could share time with Brantly in Realmuto (even though he is struggling big time) and Barnes?

However, I do like Clayton Blackburn. His numbers aren't great, but he is in the hitter-friendly California League.

Susac is much more highly thought of than either of them.

Blackburn is their #6 prospect, we're not getting him for Nolasco.

Hembree was highly regarded, but he's struggled in the PCL. I doubt we could get him, but we love stocking up on back-end relievers.

I feel like he's a guy this front office would be interested in. Just a couple of years ago, people thought he was going to be the Giants future closer.

We shouldn't have a tough time acquiring Susac since they have Posey long term.
