You all make these comments as if you didn't already know our offense was weak coming into the season. And we just faced one of the top 3 pitchers in baseball who was on top of his location and velocity. I can't imagine that anyone is surprised by this result. Furthermore, it's one game for a team that likely will be wildly inconsistent all season, so even projecting anything from this screams overreaction.

We aren't winning many games against top flight starting pitching.

But I will say that Coglhan's time in his platoon should be short-lived if he continues to show that he is such a limited hitter. He is one player I think we have all seen enough of.

They lost by 2 runs to a dominant pitcher on a great team. I haven't exactly been Mr.Pro Marlins in the offseason but they kept it close and were a bounce or two away from keeping it even closer.

They were one great defensive play in the first inning away from losing 2-1.
