I feel like Hugg didn't say he was impressed

Well, I mean, if he maintains a 17.6% K rate (which is debatable since that's based on mostly minor league PAs), that's above average these days.

58% of the 223 players with 350pa last year struck out at a higher rate.
        --------------------
Bill James projects 18.2% this year

I wonder if Beef will SeeWhatIDidThere

But in all seriousness, if he does maintain the (we'll call it 18%) K rate that will be very impressive (given his glove).

Rooting for Hech (cause I love the glove) and hoping they draw 800K next year.

Some like it hot. Some like it HOT.

            Page 18.

Celebration turf is being replaced with Platinum TE and Bermuda 419. Both are more shade tolerant than Celebration which is seen mostly on golf courses. The Marlins grounds crew over estimated how much the heat and humidity would keep the grass in the shaded areas alive. It's a good article that goes into some of the early battles with the infield dirt.

Fun fact: TE can be watered with salt water.

We don't need to be sweating our balls off while we're trying to enjoy a Corona Light draft and watching Hecchhhevarrrrrriiiiiiiaaaa strike out looking for the 3rd time.
Shouldn't be too hot during 7 PM games. Open up the roof and the windows and see how it goes.

If I'm the fish, I'd try to make the fans interact and vote whether they want the roof open or closed for every game. Polls close at 6PM and obviously if weather conditions are bad, you vetoe the fans decision.

I think it would be a very nice way to get the fans involved.
