If he took the time to just talk about trades for prospects and how we could build up the team via trades for cost controlled prospects, i'd be fine with it, but it's like the guy looking at $3 million houses on zillow who is unemployed with $47 dollars to his name. It's constantly the most convoluted scenarios where we end up taking on huge salaries, sometimes then saying we will offload those salaries in separate trades. All this as if this team has show any indication that they will ever do something like that.
That, on top of the constant posts literally every single year during the season about how the future would look good if we just sign one of the top free agents to a 5 year 100-120 million deal despite the team making it abundantly clear that will never happen under Sherman. It's just so unnecessarily repetitive, which would be fine if it had any fucking chance of actually happening. It's almost every single post for years, and it has 0 chance of happening.

It is because you didn't read the post (you said "taking on millions upon millions of dollars" when the idea was not taking on any money and off setting it) and then you in your personal time choose to talk shit about a post you admittedly didn't read. Because, you feel the need to chime in on things you don't know about and the proof is in you 100% didn't read it as your response was not factually accurate. So you typed a post talking shit when you didn't read the post you were talking shit about, and ignoring the irony of my response in saying the next few words - what is exactly the waste of time here?

It’s always the marlins taking on a huge salary to get a better return, sometimes with the caveat that they then unload that salary elsewhere. Sometimes it’s to keep Correa, other times it’s to take Bumgarner off arizonas hand. Its not a novel concept, and you’ve posted the same thing for years despite me telling you repeatedly and the team showing you every year that they have no intention of thinking outside the box and taking an even 1% risk that they are stuck with that money till the contract ends. How you still don’t see that is beyond me. They aren’t spending money. It can’t be made any more clear to you. Every year it’s the same 9 paragraphs and depth chart with absurd scenarios where they spend on a major free agent or trade for a guy with a huge salary. And then there is 0 reflection of how you are consistently misguided about what this team is clearly planning on doing, followed by you just changing the year the team is “circling”, followed by switching the names of the high priced guys they can trade for or sign in free agency. You’re not splitting fucking atoms and coming up with novel concepts. You just don’t realize after 5 years of posting the same thing that this team will never do any of those kinds of moves under Sherman.

This was you talking about Adames just a few months ago.
Detroit is probably the only threat for Adames as the Dodgers will likely prefer Kim. So they have to beat Detroit and have a geographic advantage as Atlanta, San Diego, and San Fran have better FA targets? And if the Dodgers go Rojas/cheap because their payroll is massive... So the Marlins get Adames or Kim as no one else is spending money? This is a perfect storm brewing for Miami to not cheap out based on pretty much every angle.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Does anyone else worry about Edwards being so reliant on having a ridiculously high BABIP?
I think he will end up being what people thought Brujan would be. A good enough glove to fill in at 4 or 5 spots with no pop and more of a super sub instead of a locked in starter.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler.
