Two baseball executives have said that Marlins right-handed pitcher Ricky Nolasco "will be [the] next to go" from the team, according to the New York Post's Joel Sherman.
The Marlins have a trade in place sending Josh Johnson, Jose Reyes, Mark Buehrle and others to the Blue Jays, though the trade is not yet official.
Nolasco, who turns 30 in December, was 12-13 with a 4.48 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 125 strikeouts in 191 innings in 2012. Over his seven-year career, Nolasco has a 4.49 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 76 wins and a 7.4 K/9 rate.
He is due to earn $11.5 million in 2013.
