CF - Marisnick/Yelich
RF - Stanton
B - Ruggiano, Hechavarria, Cox, Solano, Other C/Skipworth
SP - Fernandez, Turner, Alvarez
SP/RP - Conley, Eovaldi, Hand, C. James
RP - Cishek, Ramos, Jennings
Plus Heaney in high minors, the bevy of arms currently in Jupiter/Greensboro who some will work out, four picks first two rounds in 2013, likely great draft picks 2014, and whatever else in current system wants to be good.
The only players above in arbitration are Stanton, Morrison, Ruggiano (arb2), and Eovaldi and Cishek (arb1). I might be off a year with the later two but wouldn't change much.
I mean, let's say they can get 4 SP and a bullpen out of the above, the outfield is settled, and let's say they figure out one of C or 1B but the other of Morrison or the catchers blow. That is $30-35 million in payroll, and probably 20 spots on the team settled. If Loria would commit to 2012 payroll in 2015 in that scenario, that's a $65-70 million shopping spree, and I would have to imagine between that and trade assets they could figure out something acceptable at every spot even if they are looking for starters and high impact guys.
Not saying this is a good idea as they are basically killing the fan base in South Florida with this move, but keeping payroll that low creates options if most of the guys work out. I'm not expecting anything of the sorts.
Hopefully this is clearing the list of debts for the next owner so he can sell sell sell the franchise
