That place kicked ass right before and after the 3-2 pitch was thrown.

Going off of what Lou said, it's sad to think that, as of right now, only two drafted players from the Loria era have done anything significant for more than one season in Josh Johnson and Giancarlo Stanton. Three if you count Jason Vargas, and he has done "it" with Seattle.
      --------------------
And it's pathetic that Stanton had 37 homeruns and no one else on the Marlins cracked 15. Stanton did lead the National League in slugging
      --------------------
Also, Stanton only had one homerun in April and then missed almost a month. He could have hit 50 if he was healthy all season. Damn.

The year I lost faith in ownership/front office after giving them a 7 year mulligan without a stadium.

Also, that every time Pittsburgh is in town I will go for the Pittsburgh steak sandwich visiting team food item

I'm pretty sure that's just Primanit Bros. And you can just go to a Primanti Bros. whenever you want.

There's like three Primanti Bros in South Florida. They're pretty good. You should give them another shot.

I went to Primanti Bros a couple months ago and my soggy fries with cole slaw sandwich sucked

                    Primanti Bros is super overrated

don't know about the original one in Pittsburgh, but in South Florida they are what beef described

I am aware, but pretty stoked its in the ballpark?

Saying that, my favorite moment of the 2012 season (beyond non-Ali opening day) is having a steak sandwich during a Pirates game on weekday?

I think whoever runs the official facebook may have read this topic. Unfortunately they were sorely disappointed with the results.

                          Some of my favorites:

"The Stadium being empty most of the year bc we blew"

                          "I remember how we lost!"

"Being the worst team in the NL again. I wish we had an owner who knew what he was doing"

"Marlins getting rid of Hanley, since then i've watched one game n that one was when Adam Greenberg came back"

                          "AC"

"how long it took to get there, how awful baseball is indoors, how bad the team was and how great sir pizza is."

"Heath Bell and Cabrera winning the triple crown just to rub it in"

"A stadium that voters turned down but still was built? A team full of big names but delivered nothing . An owner that does not listen to its fans. And a manager that has a big stupid mouth that blew it all. Sincerely a former season ticket holder."

"Nothing- miss the Orange bowl !!"

                          and so on

"How despite being picked to finish as an NL East contender (Albert Chen at SI mainly, but others too) teams repeatedly rolled into the new park and abused the team like a rental car."

To just rofl at how bad some of the players that took the field for us are.

Going by B-R WAR, worst WAR of all time as a Marlin:

                                1 Greg Dobbs -2.2 2012
                                2 Alex Gonzalez -2.1 2000
                                3 Mike Jacobs -1.9 2008
                                4 Bryan Petersen -1.7 2012
                                5 Darrell Whitmore -1.7 1993
                                6 Todd Dunwoody -1.6 1999
                                7 Chris Coghlan -1.4 2012

3 of the worst 7 WARs of all time happened this year, including numbero uno. Gaby Sanchez (18, -1), Scott Cousins (19, -1), and Bretty Hayes (25, -0.9) also break the bottom 25. Also, just because it's funny, Coghlan's 2011 is #10. So his past two seasons have been both top 10 worst material.

                                Going by Fangraphs:

                                1 Alex Gonzalez -1.8 2000
                                2 Todd Dunwood -1.3 1999
                                3 Bryan Petersen -1.3 2012
                                4 Chris Coghlan -1.2 2012
                                5 Greg Dobbs -1.1 2012

Sanchez (-0.7, 14) was only other one to break worst 25 there.

                                I mean, jesus. That's lawltatic.
