Not really just one pays attention to the minors and the other one could care less

We still would not make noise in the Draft,International Market,or Signings.

Completely different would be Jennings going to Loria and saying "Well we got 2.9 mil to spend on IFA,let's sign some guys" or him saying "Mark Appel is at #9 let's call his advisor see what he wants to sign"

I don't doubt everything he says. But a lot of the stuff he's said has come up totally wrong too.

I'm pretty sure tjfla goes from telling us things that he heard from someone else to giving us his opinion in the form of facts without telling us the difference.

I dont think its that Beinfest doesnt care, I just think the practices of how they draft combined with poor scouting is the main culprit. You cant spend the majority of your picks every year on 4th/5th year college guys based soley on signability and ignore prep players(who might be a bit more pricey) with upside on an annual basis and expect to have a system continuously able to replace talent at the big league level. 5 first round misses in 2005 and taking Chad James over Shelby Miller over a marginally more expensive signing bonus in 2009 doesnt help either.

Not entirely beinfests fault either, as he was pretty handcuffed by draft spending limits himself. He did find a few nice players but was never allowed to take risks, always had to make safe picks.
