It’s early returns still but very few would argue that the Marlins didn’t have the best 2020 draft as of today.Last edited by Nick; 08-01-2021, 04:59 PM.

We had 6 picks 1 was traded for Dylan Floro, 1 pick was a high school pitcher who has had an ok year coming off TJ Surgery. Then 4 College pitchers who have already made it to AA which is basically unheard of including 2 (Meyer and Eder) who have arguably been the best 2 pitchers in the league.

How many other teams have two players from the 2020 draft in the top 100 prospects lists? I don’t know the answer to that, but I’d guess not many. And that’s not even counting the success their other arms have had this year from that class. Is it a slam dunk that it was the best class? Probably not. But I think there’s certainly an argument to be made.
