God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

He also thought the Marlins acquired Anibal Sanchez for Juan Pierre.God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

I've gotten the impression that he quite literally knows nothing about the Marlins, based on the few times he has been forced to discuss them this season. It really seems like he stopped following baseball four years ago.
Maybe he has some inside info, but I'd wait until, like, anyone else says that before thinking about it.poop

I'm just saying, I'd definitely wait until someone else says anything about it before thinking there is credibility to it.
The cool thing about being on the radio, is there's not really a high standard for credibility. Nobody's gonna call him out on it in six months if he's wrong like they might if it was in print, because it is such a fluid format.poop

He has a solid conceptual understanding of baseball from a sabrmetric perspective, but his concrete knowledge of the Marlins right now and the majors in general is incredibly lacking. I would assume he can't name most of the players in the bullpen or on the bench right now.
At this point he really does not strike me as someone who I would imagine is plugged in with the team.poop

He just kind of assumes that if he hears something from that group then he should trust it.
