Bob, the admins met recently and decided that posting from current and former members has fallen off precipitously because of posts like this. We asked several current and formerly active members and they agreed. We ask that these type of posts stop. It adds absolutely nothing to the board and brings down the brand we're trying to build. It's funny every once in a while with very stupid posts. But if it's going to be anyone's modus operandi the admins are not going to accept it anymore. It's become detrimental to the board and made it largely unreadable.

Anyone who comes here to talk Marlins or sports should not leave here frustrated over expressing their views on a regular basis.

I think trying to be condescending and demeaning to people you disagree with is kinda stupid. Instead of "I disagree, here's why ___" I think we get a bit too much "No, you're wrong, you're literally the worst and I hate you and you should go kill yourself" around here(that may be a slight exaggeration). That's why I tend to stay out of Marlins discussions outside of posting the occasional sexy Yu Darvish picture. This is supposed to be a place for baseball fans, not for half a dozen guys self proclaimed experts with their heads miles up their own arses.

I was stating my opinion on the general state of things. I think there's a few people here who need to lighten up. I like the Marlins and like to talk baseball, but I'm hesitant to post anything beyond "winning is good, losing is not good, Yu Darvish, ".
