Ricky Nolasco came into this game with a 56% groundball rate, and had nine GB outs to just four flyball outs today.

This transformation into a groundball pitcher is starting to look more and more legitimate as the sample size gets larger. Which is very odd.

And if you go back to last season, two of his final three months saw a GB rate over 50%, with the other month at 45.6%, which would still be a fine number.
