And, I think the Marlins built the roof to make rain delays a thing of the past and improve the fan experience. It's all about making sure that fans will not be dissuaded from attending the game because of uncertainties from rain or feeling like they are in a humid microwave on a patented Miami summer day/night. To me, "strong wind" is not enough of a reason to close the roof. It's a fucking breeze. A lot of people would consider it perfect weather. There ought to be some gradation between "beach weather" and "oh shit, we need A/C."

/avoids talking about brutal loss as a coping mechanism
Look, I absolutely love the heat (90+ = Heaven) and get cold pretty quickly, even at temperatures most people find comfortable. I shivered maybe once or twice yesterday but for the most part, it was a beautiful night for baseball and we sit right by where the wind comes in. I can sympathize with you, though, if you were freezing in the Upper Deck.
Btw, we really need to stop blowing Z's starts. Poor guy.God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.
