I think it's important to note that there isn't a single "tradition" at any ballpark/stadium that isn't totally cheesy.

The original Dolphins song is hokey beyond belief. Sweet Caroline at Red Sox games has become endearing but I'm sure people thought "WTF" when it first started. And, has anyone else heard the atrocity that is the Cubs' theme song?

Yet, all of these things are beloved by their respective fan bases.
