I like the moves so far except for the Petersen/Cogz move. Cogz has been hitting all singles, Petersen has shown some pop and a better OBP. I was rooting for Cogz though and I'm happy for him.

They made the comment that the Marlins might want LeBlanc in AAA to keep him stretched out as a starter in case someone gets hurt in the rotation.

That is absolutely my preference. 100%.

Starting pitching depth is way more important than whatever marginal improvement LeBlanc gives you over Gaudin or whoever else.

I agree. No point wasting LeBlanc as a long man. There is currently two spots open and one automatically goes to Kearns, so one. Assuming Gaudin makes it, then it'll be full. Another spot can open up immediately when they transfer Ceda to the 60-day DL. Then if Solano happens to beat out Murphy, then they will just switch places as the latter will be designated for assignment or flat-out released. Do keep in mind that Oviedo does not count against the 40 right now.
