Just got this email from the team:

The Marlins have released a small number of seats for the historic Opening Night at Marlins Park.

Secure your seats for the inaugural Miami Marlins Opening Night on April 4 when you purchase four other exciting games at Marlins Park. Tickets are very limited and will sell out very quickly.
    Opening Night Opportunity

According to the website, the deal expires Friday @ 5 PM EDT. Also, there are no paper tickets for this, so adjust accordingly tr.

Other Games in the Plan (Purchaser selects four from the list)
    April 17 vs. Chicago Cubs
    April 18 vs. Chicago Cubs
    May 14 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
    May 15 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
    May 21 vs. Colorado Rockies
    May 23 vs. Colorado Rockies
    May 28 vs. Washington Nationals
    May 30 vs. Washington Nationals
    June 5 vs. Atlanta Braves
    June 7 vs. Atlanta Braves
God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

          Very nice, 02.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the Opening Night ticket?

Were you given options on where you wanted to sit?

the opening day ticket cost me $50 in section 324, (expensive but its opening night so whatever) the total plan cost me $120. i was given options for all the other sections, not sure on their availability though since i literally went for the cheapest seat. only thing is I cant go to any of the other games I bought since I work weeknights so ill be trying to get some money back on stubhub.

This is a good deal for folks who don't care about opening night. You can almost go to the other 4 games free if you sell opening night. Saw tickets in the gold section for $535 for two. That's 5 games and you can surely sell opening night for $250 a pop.

Anyone seen when gates are going to be open on Wednesday? The web site says 2 hours for premium games, but "subject to change for Opening Day, Postseason".

I still don't even know when first pitch is. Conflicting info.

ESPN coverage starts at 7 so I'm guessing 7:10?

Only at the ballpark I believe.

That's not real helpful for the north Broward/Palm Beach fans but at least it's an option.

Samson said on the broadcast today that gates open at 4 and that the West Plaza stuff will be open all day.
