If those people who are posting it don't know what it means, it's not really news to them. They are probably posting it because they have looked at some sort of translation. Otherwise, it's weird for someone to come here and post something if they have no idea what it means. Right?

When Stanley posts something about "tercera base" on his twitter account, it's reasonable to infer that it's newsworthy even if your Spanish fluency is limited to knowing only what "tercera" and "base" mean.

While I have no problem with people posting Spanish quotes since we do have quite a few people that speak Spanish here, if you do that, can you at least post an English translation as well? This is an English language board and we do have posters here on this board that don't speak Spanish.

If this was the case, I'd expect the poster to say something like "I just came on this quote. I'm not sure what it means. Can someone translate it?" Instead, we're just getting people post stuff in Spanish (this isn't the first. There's a post from Ozzie in Spanish only in, I believe the chat thread). I'm just asking for a little courtesy for those of us that don't know Spanish very well.

How about this; if you know what it means, please post a translation in addition to the quote. If you don't, ask. Better?
