LoMo should have used a better translation site, it says that his mother was a hamster and his father smelt of elderberries. There goes our chances at him.

No clue how this all works but does the posting fee have to be paid all at once right away? They are banking on future cash flows to pay all these contracts so we might be able to afford a $100 mil contract over 6 years but not a $50 mil posting fee next week

What if the fish are able to attract(create) an Asian market in Miami? Maybe Darvish would cause more Asians to travel to Miami in order to see Darvish pitch. It would be fun to keep expanding the market. Definitely a pipe dream, but I'm still not over CJ.

That might work if the team were in Orlando

Well, there are some casinos in South Florida, so there must be some kind of Asian market.

They would make a lot of Marlin fans in Asia by this signing. The Cleveland Indians are the most popular MLB team in Korea. Many Koreans wear Indians merchandise and Indian games on TV all the time, significantly more than the Yankees or Red Sox. All because of Shin Soo Choo.

Asians would be terrified to travel to Miami. All they know is CSI.

                      Haha, that's funny about CSI.

Think about it, we sign Darvish and the fish would be selling merchandise all over Japan.

Asians that go to Disney (Disney is packed with them) can make the drive down to see Darvish pitch in Miami.

Darvish is not coming to Miami.

Better chance that the Marlins sign Willingham to a lifetime contract.

YOU DO NOT WANT THEM DRIVING ANYWHERE!

Also, not that many Japanese at Disney.

I've seen them drive in NY, crazy. They don't give a fuck. Hispanics do not drive too well either, so it's no biggy.

Most Asians in Disney are Chinese, always taking pictures with a huge smile and their peace sign up. Very cool people though.

Now that Darvish has posted, teams have until 5 pm eastern dec.14 to make bids for right to negotiate with him.
