Ozzie Guillen Talks About Hanley Ramirez, Albert Pujols and Marlins Batting Order
Can't be true. Too much for me to take right now. Not that Hanley carries a ton of weight in Miami, but going into the stadium they can't do this. Even with Reyes.

It's not the least bit true. Hanley may have asked to be traded. Hanley may have asked to have his deal redone, but even so, the Marlins don't have to do anything. They don't have to move him and they don't have to change his deal. They can have him sit on his ass and they won't pay him a dime as the Player's Association wouldn't stand a chance in this one.
So I'm saying he will in no way be traded. Hanley may be bitching and moaning (I doubt that too), but it won't matter. If this comes up in March, perhaps it's a different story. But not now.
It really makes absolutely ZERO sense to trade Hanley going into the new stadium. It seriously is the most counterproductive thing they could possibly do outside of trading Stanton. It's not happening.

Marlins upset with Hanley, because given his subpar year in '11, they were greatly surprised he wants more money to change positions.
