I do not get how a shoulder injury is not an incredibly scary injury to come back from if you're paying a guy $27 million for two seasons. Especially since he's now had three throwing motion related injuries in as many years, with a strained left pectoral and a bone-chip removal surgery as well.

Not comparable at all to Wilson.

It's still a surgery on his the same throwing arm he had surgery on the year before and had a separate injury on before.

There's something broken about the way he throws a baseball, at this point.

If JJ was a free agent right now, we wouldn't touch him because he's largely in the same boat. There's no reason to acquire a broke pitcher at a premium when you already have one. That's a waste of resources.
