They should keep Badenhop for around $1 mil if they want an experienced pen innings eater. I actually don't mind that idea. I think a Mujica, Choate, Webb, Cishek, Dunn, Ceda, and Badenhop bullpen works pretty well on paper, and costs less than resigning Nunez by himself.

I know I'll get bashed at this, but I am kinda intrigued by Jamie Moyer. Scouts have said he's looked great. He was always a Marlin killer, but I'd like him at the end of our rotation.

I suspect they will be able to trade them for at least double A relievers with legit potential. Some bottom third team (KC? Pitt? Hou?) would risk Volstad for that price for one year, ala how the Marlins dumped Olsen. Likewise, a top half team who whiffs on Bell, Madson, K-Rod, and the rest of them would probably find a 1 year commitment, at least type B compensation, and a guy playing for a contract, to be worth something.

I'm not expecting much, but maybe they can get a Marinez or Sanabia type for them. That would be completely fine based on how they don't fit into the teams plans.
