I'd be ok with a minor league deal and invite to spring training.

I said this before Ken Rosenthal did.
Ozzie does not like Vazquez either.

We should invite John Lackey first.

So Vasquez is one of the three?
God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

The Giants need to bolster their offense, so Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports suggests trading Tim Lincecum for multiple players is a viable option. Trading the two-time Cy Young Award winner might allow San Francisco to free up the payroll required to pursue a top free agent position player such as Prince Fielder or Jose Reyes.

Don't think we have what it takes to get something like this done, but it's intriguing, nonetheless.

The Giants aren't trading him either way.

That's what I think as well. Cain is a more realistic option, he's making $15 million.

Don't think we have what it takes to acquire Cain, anyway.

Also, maybe it's because I'm just so excited for the off-season, but aren't there generally a lot more rumors by now? It seems like nothing is happening this year.

Probably due to the CBA crap.

Another lefty I wouldn't mind looking at is Paul Maholm.
                      LHP Chad James-Jupiter Hammerheads-

the Marlins are concerned about the command issuesI suck.C.J. Wilson had in the postseason, according to Olney.
Something all of us are concerned about. I'm glad they're looking at all this.

Not concerned in the least with what happened to Wilson in the playoffs.

I'm not glad about that nor was I concerned about it.

Your comparison on the mb.com board was a good one.

It's the reason I said months ago that I'd probably rather have Jackson, as well.
