I'd much rather keep Omar Infante, and I don't even like Omar Infante.

      Aaron Hill is terrible now.
His defense has statistically regressed this year. More importantly, his .ISO is .092. The one cool thing about him used to be the power. Never had patience at the plate.

He's also a career .699 .OPS hitter away from Toronto.

He's also been batting a hammy injury most of the year.

But yeah, 62 homeruns in the previous 2 years from second base sounds like a solid reclamation project.

2009 was an absolute fluke for him. 2008, 2010, 2011 has shown his OPS in the .600s. He can't hit for average, he doesn't walk much, and he can't hit for power.

We're just going to discount 60+ homeruns over the last 2 seasons and say he can't hit for power?

I want him now, fuck you guys.
                --------------------
His BABIP was .191 last year. .253 this year.

He's gon be 2008 Cantu except not useless on defense.

Kelly Johnson's another one. If they're greedy, can go the "one year, high base salary to re-prove yourself to cash in next offseason" and protect Doming for another year.

If they want security though, they can probably get multi years (KJ at least) fore more security.

And while terrible defense, Betemit would be cool if he's still cheap
                  --------------------
Also going back on my "Willie Harris for lefty util bench bat that can start in CF or IF and give good defense and good OBP" that I was last year.

Though his power has disappeared this year and he's riding a high BABIP, and his defense is getting worse

Kind of amazing he put up a sub-400 slug with 26 homeruns. But yeah, fair enough.

Still am intrigued. Especially if he's cheap.
