Can I just say my favorite part about Omar is that he doesn't throw balls into the dugout and wear Ed Hardy t-shirts?

Obviously not a priority, but I'm wondering if we're not better off trying to bring him back next year. Really good insurance incase CC doesn't work out in CF again or if Dominguez totally flames out again, as Boner can step in for either and Infante can step in wherever Boner leaves. Totally unspectacular player, but there's value in being unspectacular.
Next season doesn't hinge on 2B or 3B, really, since it's probably unreasonable to expect more than average production from Dominguez anyways. The offense hinges on Hanley getting back to being top-5 SS guy, Lomo jumping to middle of the pack LF guy, Gaby maintaining top-10 1B guy, and Stanton making the jump to elite.
I think we're basically set on hoping for solid, unspectacular production from 2B-3B-C no matter what possible alignment we use. Infante at least gives us that from 2B or 3B in the worst case scenario.poop

May .262/.294/.301 .280babip
June .272/.333/.340 .298babip
July .291/.342/.369 .330babip
BABIP last 3 years
2008 .327
2009 .339
2010 .355
so, in July, his babip finally went back to around what it was in Atlanta and he went right back to being the same player he was there
I'd definitely bring him back.

Isn't it crazy that most of us know more about the players than the players know about themselves?
This is not a dig at anyone. Just an observation.
I mean, it's very unlikely that Omar knows his BAPIP over the course of the last 3 years right?
Right?
